Spin Circuit Training
Spin Circuit training is a total body workout that involves performing both strength and cardio training exercises. You can improve all aspects of your physical ability and appearance with this high intensity but highly enjoyable type of training. Weight training is done OFF the bike.
Space is limited. We ask that everyone sign up for this class.
Upper Body/Core and Cardio Circuit
Class format changes every week so as to keep your body guessing! We may do a group session where we are all doing the same weight training routine one week, and the next week we are all following a circuit using the pull up bars, dumbbells, medicine balls, cable machine and benches. We do a series of intense cross-training moves with bursts of aerobic exercise and timed weight lifting circuits.
One precise Pilates move brings more Benefit than 10 Sloppy. By practicing Pilates regularly, you can acheive a number of health benefits, including:
- Improved Core Strenght and Stability.
- Improved Posture and Balance
- Prevention and Treatment of Back Pain
Tabata / H.I.T.T.
45 Min. Faster paced, Tabata training is a high intensity training regime consisting of 20 seconds of maximum intensity exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated at 8 intervals for 4 minutes. We do this class Tabata STYLE - which means our intervals are longer, 40 seconds of work with 10 secs rest. We combine free weights with squats, lunges, and high-intensity exercises so that you can build strength according to your own body type and goals. Class is for more experienced exercisers - however most moves can be modified for the adventurous beginner! (with Teresa)
Mobility and Foam Rolling
Pilates mat work fused with balance training and self myofacial release with the foam roller. The stresses of any of a combination of hard training, chronic postures, or injuries can create unfavorable changes to your tissues that can make certain movements uncomfortable, limited, and restricted. Massage can play a role in improving this.
Space is limited. We ask that everyone sign up for this class. On Spinner bikes, riders experience a challenging, exhilarating and fun workout. Knowledgeable and inspiring Certified Spinning Instructors — the core of Spinning — ensure riders enjoy the journey.
This class is like open gym - with a pre-planned workout you can follow on your own with guidance (with Teresa). Come when you want - just follow the written workout and sometimes we have an obstacle course outside weather permitting. During TriFitness Challenge Prep this class time is also dedicated to competition training. March - June is the season.
Pre/Post Natal Training
