Fitness Competitor for Tri-Fitness Challenge

Teresa began her fitness career in 1995 as a group fitness instructor at Shapes Total Fitness in Palm Harbor, FL. She soon added a personal trainer certification to her group fitness certification (Both by AFAA) and took a leap into the fitness industry full time by 2000. She added her Pilates certification by PhysicalMind Institute in 2001, became a Johnny G Certified Spinning instructor in 2005 as well as got her pre/postnatal instructor certification by SCW Moms in Motion during her 1st pregnancy. She continued training her clients as well as teaching her fitness classes during both of her pregnancies, and loves working with expectant mothers, teaching them to exercise safely during their pregnancy. She is also CPR/AED certified.

Teresa also competed for Fitness America, Fitness Universe and Women’s Tri-Fitness (currently Tri-Fitness Challenge and from time to me still competes for Tri-Fitness. She also judges many of the Tri-Fitness competitions when she’s not competing, and was inducted into the Tri-Fitness Hall of Fame in 2014. She loves working with athletes of all ages.

Teresa took a leap of faith and opened up her own studio, T-Fit in Palm Harbor, in March of 2014 and enjoys every day.

Jeff is a certified corrective exercise specialist and he can help you move well! He is known for helping clients rehab after surgeries, or helping them avoid surgery all together!  Jeff is an expert in mobility and functional training.  Sessions according to your availability in 30 or 60 minute time slots. Jeff has been training since 1998.

Phyllis is a mother of 2 and is not only a positive, enthusiastic indoor cycling and circuit instructor, but she is also by day the head librarian at the Dunedin Library!  We love having Phyllis as a newer member of our staff here at T-Fit!  Get ready to test your book knowledge in her classes!



Fitness Competitor for Tri-Fitness Challenge

Mother of two with a love of personal strength.  Renee has been in the fitness industry since the year 2000.  She completed her certification in Personal Training with NASM and ACE. She specializes in athletic training, and is a Tri-Fitness competitor who has competed in the Tri-Fitness World Challenge since 2016.  Renee is also one of our dynamic Rock Star Indoor Cycling Instructors!

AIS (Active Isolated Stretching) Certified

Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) is one of the methods of stretching most used by today's athletes, massage therapists, personal/athletic trainers, and professionals. Active Isolated Stretching allows the body to repair itself and also to prepare for daily activity. The Active Isolated Stretching technique involves the method of holding each stretch for only two seconds. This method of stretching is also known to work with the body's natural physiological makeup to improve circulation and increase the elasticity of muscle joints and fascia.

Tricia worked directly with Aaron Maddes' to obtain her AIS Certification and specializes in working with the elderly, stroke patients, and those with limited mobility and pain.  She suffers from a physical condition herself which makes her especially empathetic to those with any physical limitations.

Ashley has a passion and love for fitness and teaching. She enjoys helping people create, begin, and reach their fitness goals. 

Ashley began her journey to a healthier life style at 193lbs in January of 2013 with little knowledge of fitness or how to properly workout. She spent hours doing cardio and working out but didn’t see the results she wanted. She took Teresa’s class for the first time in January of 2015 and fell in love with the classes and format. Through the support of Teresa, her friends, and her family, she became a group fitness instructor through SCW. She has since been teaching classes at T-Fit every week. She loves teaching and looks forward to every class. She also completed her NASM Personal Training certification in 2018 and is currently accepting new clients for evenings and weekends.




AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor Zumba Certified Instructor Break The Floor Dance Teacher Certification

Jessica has always been interested in health and wellness but became dedicated to it in the last 3 years.  She has been a dancer all of her life and eventually became a dance instructor in 2003. After consistently teaching dance, she became certified in Zumba in 2013.  She felt she needed more to reach her personal health and wellness goals and in 2016, she joined Teresa Evans at T-Fit.   At that moment, she was hooked and was committed to working out and living a healthy, balanced lifestyle.  With T-fit's help and guidance, she has lost 30 pounds since March 2017.  

In August of 2018, she received her group fitness certification from AFAA and joined the team at T-Fit!  

Jessica is the mother one son.  By day, she works in the insurance industry as a marketing supervisor.  In her spare time, she is  active in local community theatre as a singer, dancer and actress in various shows.
